Engineering Research AB is a centre of excellence in the field of Computational Structural and Solid Mechanics, CSM, and Simulation Based Design. Our competence is based both on advanced academic research and development and on a long term industrial experience. Our experience from Finite Element Methods goes back to the early 70'th! We have taken an active part in the development of vehicle collision simulations since 1980. In particular, we have long experience in:
  • Contact and impact large deformation mechanics
  • Vehicle collision simulations and crash-worthiness design
  • Metal forming simulations
In addition we continuously work on short and long term projects for customers.

Engineering Research AB was founded in 1980 and became an incorporation in 1986. We have our support and consulting office at Garnisonen, a new research and development centre in Linköping, Sweden.

Distribution

Engineering Research AB is responsible for marketing, distribution, installation, support and consulting on Livermore Software Technology Corp. (LSTC)'s products in the Nordic Countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland) and the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania).
